Wabbi is a fitness companion app that turns real walks and workouts into progress for a small on-screen creature. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, where it lives, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please email contactafterai@gmail.com.
When you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive an account identifier and an email address from that provider. If you choose "Hide My Email" during Sign in with Apple, we only ever see Apple's private relay address, not your real email. We store the account identifier so we can recognize you on future launches and a display name / username you pick inside the app.
With your permission, Wabbi reads the following data types from Apple Health on your device:
We use this data solely to power in-app progression: awarding XP, feeding leaderboards, evolving your wabbi, and unlocking cosmetics. Per Apple's App Store Review Guideline 5.1.3, we do not use HealthKit data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with any third party. You can revoke Wabbi's HealthKit access at any time from iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
We keep a minimal internal log of app-side events (level-ups, unlocks, purchases) so we can support you and improve the game. We do not collect location data outside of the workout routes you explicitly allow via HealthKit.
All purchases (Wabbi Crystals gem packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment card details. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts on our behalf as our billing infrastructure — we receive a transaction identifier, product id, and gem-pack size so we can credit your account. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for their processing details.
Wabbi's backend is hosted on Supabase in the United States. Your account information, wabbi progression, inventory, and per-purchase records are stored in Supabase's Postgres database. From Apple Health we store your derived daily step and distance totals and a record of each workout you complete — its type, times, duration, distance, calories, and, when you have allowed route access, the workout's route path and starting coordinates. Workout routes and start coordinates are precise location data; they are kept only on your own activity records, are used solely for in-app progression and your own activity history, and are never shown to other users (see Section 3). We do not stream raw, continuous HealthKit sample data off your device, and we do not collect your location outside of these Apple Health workouts.
Wabbi has an in-app leaderboard and public profile pages that show your username, your public wabbi collection, and aggregate activity stats (miles, weekly totals). Individual workout routes and start coordinates are never shown to other users, even to accounts you follow. You can set your account to private in Settings — private accounts show only your username and avatar to non-followers.
You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account, all wabbis, currency balances, inventory, and social connections from our database. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Wabbi is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please email us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the effective date at the top and notify you in-app. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
